Hi Jes,
What are you trying to do? Could you be more specific about which Midi controller you are using?

Thanks

i mean
I want to get the value of a slide on a custom surface
but I want the ability to constantly increment and decrement
0-----100
[ loop ]
most like a time scratch

And is your midi controller using a DJ scratch wheel, or do you have an endless rotary or fixed rotary encoder. Or do you want to control this with a linear slider?

That’s why I asked which controller you were using.

Thanks

I’m still trying to figure out what you mean, but I can use Audio Analysis to control a two part step sequencer with a value of 0 and 1. By setting the Time in the step sequencers to the audio analysis, it essentially toggles a custom slider between the value of 0 and 1. You can use it as is or depending on where you are trying to send those values, you can change it to be between 0 and 100 instead of 0 and 1.

Attached is a project file example.

This sounds a bit like the ratchet question. When an Audio Analysis frequency hits the required value the slider increments from 0-1 and loops back to 0 when 1 is reached.
