Video encoding – ff.works 3 (major update)

Hi,

ff.works has had a major update to version 3. This is my go to FFmpeg GUI which makes encoding painless, the app has good support and is being constantly updated. You can batch process, set up drop folders and HAP is fully supported. For speed there’s a bunch of presets for codecs and social network platforms.

The full licence €22 Euro
Upgrade from v2 €14 Euro

Thanks for the update, I recently bought ff.works 2 and they provided me a free update to the version 3.

My favorite go to for all things compression. Need to get my head wrapped around using the ffmpeg cli with it, especially when it comes to batching image seq to video

If there’s one helper app to have its ff.Works. But yes I agree the image to video workflow is a little hit and miss. The trick is to get the file name numbering correct… this was the guidance I received from the ff.Works support back in 2021:

Yes, the files need to have a sequencing numbering. The only rule is that the numbering needs to be at the end.

For example img0000001.png , file-0001.jpg , 00000000001.png , …

It does not need to start at 1 either.

Hope that helps.
