VDMX6 Plus Media Bin Trigger Style not working

I came across this problem in my gig the other day, was wondering if anyone has come across it.

In my media bin, only “immediate” works. “Next on Movie End” or “Random on Movie End” etc. doesn’t trigger the next clip after the current clip finishes playing. On the day I had to do a work around where I set the trigger source of “Next” to the timeline of the clip, once it finishes it triggers the “Next” button. But the above is definitely a bug (at least after fiddling for hours after the gig I still couldn’t figure out what was causing it).

Anyone else experiencing this? I’m running MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 on M1 Max.

I’ve had the same problem on a project some weeks ago, wasn’t online and forgot to report it. Thanks for posting, I concur, i have experienced the same problem.

I have to report the same issue. I hope a fix can be made soon. We rely on this functionality for an upcoming exhibition.

Does anyone know which build still has this working properly?

I don’t know about all VDMX 6 builds, but I think I was running 1.0.3 at that time I discovered the problem, so at least must be earlier than that. In my case I went back to VDMX5 for that specific situation.

Looks like the movie trigger on end bug was probably introduced in 1.0.4

Should be fixed in the next update.

I just wanted to give more information on this. I have tried to downgrade VDMX 6 Plus to earlier versions. I downgraded first to 1.0.2 and the problem was already present, the same goes to 1.0.1

So it seems that this kind of trigger had an issue from the intital release.
