Release Notes:
-
Adds metadata editor to the template manager (thumbnails and descriptions; be careful with thumbnails, it re-encodes to jpeg, but it doesn’t automatically resize for you, so best to use an image under 1 MB if you can, I’ve been taking screenshots and resizing them with Preview)
-
Adds ‘Plugin Templates’: Save and quickly reload settings for plugins. Plugin templates are stored in the VDMX application support folder. Templates show up in a sub-menu when adding plugins to the workspace. Right-click on individual plugins to create new templates or overwrite existing ones. Supports sub-folders for organization. Organize using the Templates Manager panel or in the Finder.
-
Control Surface now includes Expressions tab for creating math expressions. See Plugin Template examples and docs pages for more information. Uses exprtk syntax.
-
Various File Browser improvements: Added sidebar for faster access and better organization of top level items. Added search scope.
-
Adds ‘load files from disk’ right-click menu in the Media Bin.
-
Added Permissions section of the Preferences for seeing what system level permissions for VDMX have been approved, denied, or yet to be asked. Makes it easy to find out if a camera or audio input isn’t working because of system settings outside of VDMX.
-
Lots of bug fixes and small backend improvements.
As always, if you run into any bugs, please use the built in Help menu > Report Bug.
