I have some fairly simple software that outputs to channel 1 on universe 0 on my local IP address. Pretty basic apps like AppNetView on Mac OS are able to read the values as I fade up and down. But, for some reason, I can’t get VDMX 6 Plus to recognize any of the universes I create. Every time I hit Discover, it just keeps coming back blank.
Similarly, nothing else seems to be able to receive anything that I send out from VDMX (for example, when using the sample “DMX Color Cues” template.)
Is there something I’m fundamentally not getting about how VDMX sets up DMX?
Yes, it’s currently on the bug list for VDMX6. It’s still working in VDMX5 if you can roll back to that?
