Triggering multiple videos at once

Hi, I’m using VDMX6 with an M-Audio Keystation MIDI keyboard. I’ve mapped each key from C1 to C5 to a different video clip in the Media Bin.

The problem is that when I accidentally press more than one key at once (or play a chord), VDMX tries to trigger multiple clips at the same time. This often causes the program to freeze or slow down, probably because it’s loading several large HAP files simultaneously.

What I’d like to do is make VDMX only trigger one clip at a time — ideally the first key I press — and ignore any other notes played at the same time or within a very short time window.

Is there a way to:

  • set a “minimum trigger interval” or “debounce” time in the Media Bin, or
  • configure VDMX so that pressing a second key while a clip is launching won’t trigger another clip?

Thanks for any tips!

Question, are you pre-loading the media clips?

Hey!
Thanks for reply.
I’ve tried it pre-loaded clips or not preloadet clips …its the same!
VDMX freezes while when getting to much midi information at the same time.
What do you suggest?
