Hey there everyone just installed the latest version of VDMX5. and the ruttaera is just not working anymore. Anyone with the same problem? @davidlublin any suggestions?

Just a quick check, did you run the extra v002 installer from the dmg Extra folder?
We don’t include the Rutt Etra and other v002 plugins as part of the main installer.

Hello,
I installed the last version of vdmx 6 plus, but I can’t run Rutta Era displacment and other QC fx in the v002 folder.
I loaded the fx on the layer, but the output become black.
I run other QC staff(source and other fx) and they are running well, I have already installed QC, Xcode, reboot the mac two or three times, but it seems I’m stuck.
anybody had the same issue and how you fuxed or suggestions?

Rutt Etra does not work on M series.

It should still work on the M series Macs if you run the VDMX in Rosetta mode.
You can enable this from the Finder by using the Get Info option on the application, and using this toggle:
Here are some user alternatives, and now with VDMX6 Plus you can use Rutt Etra TouchDesigner .tox. or the ISF and Vuo ones listed on the forums:

No support for 32bit plugins after 10.15.7 Catalina so a bunch of the v002 stuff stopped working.
Still running it on a older 2019 macbook and runs great. Used it with 4k output and looks amazing
