Restoring Favorite FX chains to VDMX 6 from 5

Hi, I recently upgraded to VDMX 6 and I’m struggling to import my saved Favorite FX assets into the new version. It’s also a entirely new computer. Am I missing something?
Please let me know if it’s as simple as a drag and drop (from Help menu) etc.

V6 should automatically migrate FX chains. If not, you can find them here:

  • Help Menu > Show Assets folder, there’s a ‘SavedVidFXChains’ file

If it didn’t transfer, then there may be an incompatible FX in the V5 chain, that if moved to V6 will create a crash. So it may be easier just to have V5 and V6 open at the same time and rebuild some of your FX chains.
