What do you think about their new feature? I always wished VDMX could do this. Maybe the competition makes it possible for a future update? 
I mean …what are they doing exactly? I suppose just no skipping / dropping of frames … or is there more technically happening? What‘s your guess @davidlublin?
Would also be nice to be able to animate HQ pictures or to render 4k (why not 8k!?) ISF or use 4444 ProRes.
I know that would be possible in Apple Motion - but well it‘s not VDMX.

Haven’t used Resolume in a while - what does render mean in a live setting?
Means you have nice preproduced clips.
What I imagine would be superb would be a HQ-checkbox in the movie recorder and also setting for clip length (also be able to use a layer‘s clip length) and a resolution setting (I might wanna render that ISF in 4K which would be impossible otherwise) and the FPS.
ah yes, well. thats way more precise. there def a way you can setup a que action of record and stop. but thats pretty slick.
