I’ve never stopped using VDMX for my own projects off and on, but I haven’t played video live in years, and haven’t been on the forums in almost as long. But as I get more into videoinstrumentalism again, and I get ready to move to a different continent, I found my *Spark D-Fuser from 2013. It hasn’t been used since probably 2014 or 15. Does anyone else still use one? Do you find it’s still useful has the tech moved on too far? Trying to decide whether to bring it in a suitcase or move it on to someone else. Ideas welcome!

My opinion: If you’re into the retro vibe, go for it. I don’t see the problem. I’m sure everything comes back around eventually, like Panasonic mixers. Even if you don’t use it now, keep it. That thing will still work for many years without needing drivers. And if you decide to give it away, I’ll give you my address! :-)
Thanks for the feedback - I’m moving to the UK from the US in a few weeks so I’m trying to minimize what I bring, though I’ve got enough space in my luggage that I don’t have to be really strict about it. It’s fairly small and light so maybe it’s worth bringing and reviving when I get there. It’s true that stuff does tend to come around, though I’m not sure it’s going to have the resolution I want - if it’s “just” HD - but OTOH could be cool to mess around with blending two DVD players or something.
not sure it does anything you can’t now do on NDI.
