Possible way to receive Blackmagic Input that's not Program

Hi all,

So I have many blackmagic switchers, all are great, and works seamlessly with VDMX. I just have one issue and that’s sometimes I want VDMX to pull an input feed from the switcher directly that’s not in Program Output. Sometimes I want the program feed that’s running throuigh VDMX to stay on the IMAG screen, and pullout another input source that’s also plugged into the Blackmagic device and stack it somewhere on the IMAG screen also through VDMX.

I can do the same thing with the built in supersource/upstream keyer on the blackmagic device, but VDMX is much more flexible with applying fx and other configurations to the input source, so I’m wondering if there is a way to do this.

Thanks all!

Which device are you specifically using?

I’m mainly using the Blackmagic ATEM TV Studio Pro 4K8.

Just an update to my previous question, I’ve had a not so efficient work around where I send the input that’s not in program or preview into an aux output, and have that aux output rerouted back into my laptop through a SDI capture card.

My question is how many outputs does that device share with VDMX through the SDK vs their own software?

It may be more of a BMD design question if those other streams are available.

I don’t have one of those devices in front of me.
