NDISyphon r3 link bust, r2 has a memory leak on apple silicon

Hi Guys

when I try to dL the latest version of NDISyphon I get a web page with this:

I’m trying to use r2 but whilst it works well memory consumption keeps rising into GB to point I run out of memory

Hi Matt,

NDISyphon is a free app and all of it’s functionality can be recreated with the demo of VDMX6.

With the recent release of VDMX6, OSX 15, and newer Apple hardware (and depreciation of various hardware and software), VDMX6 and it’s functionality is the main priority.

If you want to do similar routing on a newer machine. I’d recommend downloading VDMX6, opening up a template and using VDMX6 to route your Syphon / NDI connections. This will also give you more options and the demo is fully functional without the ability to save presets.

There’s definitely a world in which NDISyphon may get updated, but for now, there’s already another option available, so it doesn’t seem urgent to update the standalone app.

Thanks for your swift reply, I’m DLing VDMX6 now. if the demo version does the trick that would be brilliant, my current use case doesn’t really support any purchases art mo, helping an arts project get stuff on a wall. Who knows though, if I get a new career I’ll stump the bunce:)
