Bought VDMX6 a while ago. Working well except the Movie Recorder who won’t record.
“15 GB available, can’t record!” is the message. On my computer though I have 95,05 GB left.
So what do I do to make the Movie Recorder work?

Have you checked the settings for recording under preferences/recording?
Maybe your destination folder is wrong?
Thanks! But what have that to with how much space there is left ?
Maybe it was set to a wrong destination confusing VDMX, I don’t know. Problem solving.

Where does your computer say you have 95GB left?
If you go to top menu > Apple > (hold down option key) click > System Information > Storage.
How much space is left? Could you share a screenshot?
Are there any other user accounts on your machine, or iphone/ipad backups in your hidden systems folder that are not counting toward your overall free space?
Lastly, make sure VDMX has files and folders permissions to save to that location.
I have my Iphone and Ipad connected but that worked well with vdmx5.

Yes the program is under files and maps
But maybe that really was not you question?
You’ll want to submit a bug report using the built in menu. Help > Report Bug so that more of your system information is shared.
My other question is, are you using the latest version of VDMX?

I have version VDMX6 version 1.0.7 (1.0.7)
So is this newly bought something that I has to update?
And I also wonder about the size of my computer 8GB M1 from 2020 is the to low standard to run VDMX? Because I have had earlier had a great problem with program shutting down. You know the little blue boll spinning.

As for the M1, that is a very low spec system. It will be limited, but you can still do some things with VDMX. Just make sure you use HAP codecs if you do any video playback, and a fast external SSD if you have a lot of media.
