MIDI Jump Back After Mapped

Hi,

The following is happening:
-map a MIDI controller knob to a VDMX slider
-move the MIDI controller knob and the VDMX slider moves as expected.
-move the VDMX slider w/ the mouse and the slider value “slides” back to the previous value (where the MIDI controller’s knob currently is) and a solid color box briefly appears on the VDMX slider with a “T” in the middle of it.

If I’m using a knob w/ LED ring (like on the APC40), the lights move w/ the VDMX fader, and I’ve used the midi monitor tool to ensure that the MIDI controller is not persistently sending values to VDMX.

I’m fairly new to VDMX… Is this a bug or is this normal behavior? If so, can you change it? The way it is now makes it so you can either only use the virtual controls or only use the MIDI controller.

Thanks,

TK

Can anybody confirm that this happens or doesn’t happen on their copy? I’d like to at least know whether or not this is a bug or the intended nature.

Thanks!

Todd

Can you share a sample project with us? I can test it with the APC40 I have.
