I am having problems with lagging - droping frames.
How to optimaze my system for better resaults.

What file type is lagging? If you load the demo project. Top menu > Help > Open demo project do you experience lagging?
Or are you playing video clips that are not optimized for live playback?

The file itself doesn’t lag, but the problem occurs when I apply some effects (FX).
Regarding the files – I’m using MP4 format. Could that be the issue?
I see that I need to install the HAP codecs.
Could you please let me know how to install them? Are there any common issues during the installation process?

I’ve just tested it – I downloaded the HAP codec and converted the files to .mov, but the problem still persists.
My CPU usage looks fine, but the issue occurs when I apply segmented blur.
I discovered that the video lags only on the left layer.
(If I apply all the processing and effects on the right layer, the lag occurs on my left layer)
But if I do the same on the same fxs on my left layer- right layer plays smoothly.
I am using the same video clip in both layers.
I really don’t understand why this is happening.

Segmented Blur only works when it detects a persons face. You can try this with your face time camera. These Apple Vision features can be intensive on your machine if it has limited resources, or is being used on a layer without faces.
