Is it possible to apply effects on all faces detected from the video?

Hello,

I know you can click [Next] or [Prev] to select a face from the video and apply an effect to it. Is it possible to apply an effect to all the faces detected?

Thanks!

It depends. Some FX apply to all faces and others apply to one. Which FX are you using?

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to apply Bump Distortion on all faces detected from the video.

Ahh, I see. Yes, the bump distortion FX only has one position point that you can control. So in theory, for multiple faces, you’d need multiple layers and trackers going. The other way to do this would be to make a custom ISF that had multiple distortion points (and the math for it) in a single FX.

Thank you! If the number of detected faces is changing, for example, in a real-time video from a camera, then I think a custom ISF is the only way, right?

Currently, yes. I believe that or using Vuo or TouchDesigner comps would be the only way.
