How to add Fonts to VDMX?

Is there a process to add fonts to vdmx within Use Source/Text - Font Menu?

Adjacently: Under Layer/Use Source/ CI Sources/ Text Image Generator - What does this do? I see no effect.

(OS 14.4.1, VDMX 9.9.2.0)

You have to add the fonts in the Font Book.app and they show up in all other apps like VDMX. Or buy a decent Font-Manager package like RightFont or FontBase.

Thanks, I would swear on a stack of gold that all I had was a bunch of .oddfilename fonts, but now after your comment it is just as you said. Good thing I have no such gold…though that may not appear surprising.
