Its been a while. I should probably know the answer to this by now considering that I’ve been using VDMX for nearly 20 years, however stupid questions animate the universe, thus I persist.
One of my qualms with using this software is the way presets are set up. There are global presets, and presets for layers, layer groups, and even control surfaces.
However, if I made lets say 5 global presets for some generative effects and then I want to later add a control surface that controls different parameters of these presets, I have to go through and recreate the control surface for each preset?
Or can I deselect plugins for each global preset and then I create a control surface that persists across the different global presets?
How are you dealing with editing presets after you have made them?
