General silicon tools

Finally ! Upgrade from an intel mbp (2014) to an air m4 (2025) with 28 g.ram Are there any must have tools that I should know about that I should get for the m4. Got brew fired up so cli and cask is welcomed as well.

If you are asking on the Vidvox forum I would say:

Protokol
Handbrake/ShutterEncoder
HAPencoder - AVF batch converter (comes with VDMX)
VUO and Touchdesigner can come in handy

Otherwise I’m of the opinon that not much is needed. You can check also SaneSideButtons if you use a mouse with forward and back buttons.
