I remember seeing a video from _vade where he demonstrates a totally automatic solution to cut down long videos into scenes with the help of ML. I recently tried to do this in DaVinci but it was a bit wonky.
Would be such a dream to have this! Any ideas / workflows welcome!

Needs Catalina, I’m still on Mojave, so haven’t tried it. I’d also save a lot of time having a tool like that.
I use Magnum 3 like Edit detector on After Effects
Works like a charm
the latest after effects will not do scene detect. you can add markers or split clips.
suspect premiere also does it now.
