Crop Window input doesn't work?

Hello there!
Just updated to VDMX6plus and trying to make my old show work.
It seems I can’t crop window inputs anymore. The interface is the same as v5, but nothing happens.
Is there a setting I’ve missed or is it just not working?
Using VDMX6 1.0.5.

Tested on
MacbookPro M1Max MacOS 14.7
Mac Studio M2Max MacOS 14.6.1

Hi there. Yes the interface is the same (so people don’t have to relearn the software, and so older tutorials still apply). You should be able to crop window inputs. Can you share a screen recording of what you are experiencing? Also, feel free to submit a bug report with the built in help menu > report bug.

I’ve made two screen recordings.

One from VDMX6 where it’s not working.

And from VDMX5 showing what I expected it to do.

Thanks for sharing. Now I understand. The crop window input, is a known bug / regression, but we’re going to hold off on fixing it because we plan to rewrite that whole subsection (window / screen capture) to use a newer Apple SDK in the next couple of months.

Ah!
Good to know it’s a bug/regression and just not me finding the right setting. Looking forward to it getting solved.
I’ve made a workaround involving layer presets for cropping for the 2 window capture sources I use.
