I am going to do visuals with an input of sound so the visuals respond on that. Sounds from dj gears. The question is do I just do an input of all surrounding sounds or use a cable. It´s at a club.
Hello - if you need to do something very precise, a line in is probably better…
… but I usually find the macbook laptop mic input is fine by itself…
just be sure to adjust the laptop sound prefs > sound input levels, so its not just maxing out - but is giving a nice range of values in between…
See for yourself, by playing some music from speakers elsewhere at home…
