I like to record my rehearsals, for feedback to myself after. More often than not, there are mistakes here and there and I want a second go, try some improvements and ideas.
I have a hard time remembering which clips I played the first time around. I’m experimenting, so I digging up all kinds of stuff.
So, a feature request. How about a history list? Better still, a history BIN! Sort of like in DJing apps, I’m nearly dependent on history playlists.
Noted for a feature request. In the past, I added one for .xml export that would give clips and in/out points for import into an NLE timeline, but that is obviously more complicated. 
I already made a Vuo patch that keeps a log of played clips for a project.
If you want I can make something that will work for your needs. I’ll need some info from you. How many layers, do you need a record for all of them, do you use any TCMs, do we include that data too?
If you want we can have a quick online call and hash out everything. It shouldn’t take me too long to build it.
We can make it as a plugin for VDMX or a standalone thing.
on a separate note: I would though add that there is some weirdness how and when a media bin will update it’s osc string when set to ‘random on movie end’. Sometimes it sends the next clip name before it is playing.
