Can I put a delay on just the audio of a .mov to sync w/ a projector?

If not, if I normalize my two sync’d videos and had Qlab trigger a third identical audio track, would the length of the song remain the same? Meaning, does normalizing a song mean that the length of the song varies to accommodate the syncing of the second video? I don’t want to create a new problem by separating the audio from the .mov video.

there are a few possibilities but man an audio VST aspect to control audio inside of VDMX would be insane #featurerequest

If you are syncing audio with video - I would make sure your audio frame rate (29.97 speed of sound on Video it seems) and video frame rate doesn’t glide or drift over time, long playback is always risky for perfectly synced sound internally from VDMX.
VDMX playback rate shifts based on CPU/GPU speeds as far as I understand it.

I always use external picture&sound run into VDMX for long sync audio, and it can be synced with midi shuttle internally kinda?

just a thought.

You can use the free AU Lab from Apple here:
https://www.apple.com/ca/itunes/mastered-for-itunes/

Just insert a delay plug in.

if you need more than 2 outputs or more complex routing like Soundflower check out:
