New user to VDMX here looking to add audio reactivity to playback that scrubs the timeline making clips feel like they are moving rhythmically. Or at least I think that’s what I’m trying to describe. I’ve played with mapping audio analysis to the rate, which is really close to the effect I want, but there is a slight delay and it tends to get stuck in a few seconds long backwards / forwards loop.
The Ratchet plugin feels like exactly what I’m looking for, but I don’t understand how to get it to work. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get the Ratchet output to control any parameters. Apologies if bringing up this plugin is taboo.
TL;DR How do I make this clip of Power Rangers feel like they are dancing by using an audio analysis filter focused on a bass drum?
Running VDMX 6 (1.3.12) with Ratchet as a QC-based plugin
