Audio analysis on/off button to MIDI?

I’ve been trying to get an audio analysis plug-in to allow me to turn it on and off by the on/off button via midi and there seems to be no way to get it to show up in the UI inspector. I tried to work around the janky way by making presets but the preset panel doesn’t seem to let me apply the changes; no amount of fiddling with the W/R the audio analysis preset strip saves or addresses the buttons I try to map; and when I CAN get the preset panel up, it doesn’t take the update click either.

Is there a reason the audio analysis on/off isn’t addressable like most other buttons? More important, is there a work around other than manual gain control?

Hi,

The On/Off button for AA actually disables the microphone input entirely. I think you make a good point, that the gain should be stored into the AA preset as well, but out of curiosity, why would you want to turn the AA plugin on or off?

For example, if it is driving some data or FX elsewhere, you can toggle that FX or layer preset to use the AA data or not.

Just curious.

Thanks

The idea was to set up a quick way to kill audio reactivity without messing with the gain, and to use multiple audio analysis for different audio routings with separate toggles.

Okay, cool. I’ve added it to the feature requests.
