I see an older post from 2018 regarding AJA functionality being considered for future VDMX updates and I am wondering where that ended with VDMX6?

It’s been requested in the past, but I think for the price point most users have went with BlackMagic. I believe Kona and T-Tap would be the only two devices that would need support? The rest of the AJA hardware is mainly converters at this point?
Yes. The Kona-X is interesting because of the ultra low-latency touted by Aja. But its an expensive card to buy on whim without knowing it would work with VDMX. I know its supported with Resolume on Mac.
Bumping this thread because of the complete trainwreck that is Blackmagic devices working properly with each version of Apple Silicon updates. (That is for a different topic thread).
AJA SDK integration should be strongly considered to replace Blackmagic as the default I/O option.
Hmm, I did a quick google and there are plenty of forum posts from previous versions of Mac OS where users said their AJA devices stopped working. When Apple releases something new and breaks something, there are usually issues with all devices and software, which is why we typically recommend waiting before updating your OS.
The general rule of thumb is if you have a working system, don’t break it (professionally speaking).
