Even if you buy the product version and install it from the URL sent by email, it will look like the image.
A few questions.
-
What version of VDMX are you trying to run.
-
Have you enabled permissions under your security preferences so VDMX can access the folders your files are in?
-
What version of OSX are you running?
-
How old is the project you are trying to convert?
Make sure VDMX has full disk access as well as access to your camera and microphone under system preferences.
Thank you for answering.
1.Version b0.8.8.0.5
2.VDMX is full disk access.
3.MacOS Monterey version 12.6.3
4.I don’t know where I should check.
Verified VDMX has full disk access and access to camera and microphone.
Delete VDMX by dragging the app to the trash.
Empty the trash and restart your computer.
Then reinstall from the latest DMG: VDMX Beta 8.8.0.9 now ready for testing! (M1/Intel) OSX 10.15+
After you reinstall. Make sure it has access to your files and folders as well.
I followed the instructions as instructed.
But I still get the same window.
Attach images of files and folders.
So it doesn’t run with b8.8.0.9?
Please share your project file here.
It’s possible you are trying to open a project file that is very old.
Sorry, the project file was too big to share.
Check the image for the version.
You can submit a bug report using the build in bug reporter if you can get VDMX to launch without opening your project.
Otherwise, you can share the project with all of us using WeTransfer, Google Drive, or others.
got it.
Verification please.
I don’t need the VDMX application. I need the project file you are trying to open and convert.
The project file that caused the first error message that you posted. “Project Conversion Warning.”
Thank you for answering.
solved.
Sorry, we were unable to register your license.
After upgrading to b8.8.0.9 I’m getting the same conversion warning message.
I went back to b8.8.0.8 and received the same warning message.
I then reinstalled b8.8.0.9 and it appears to be ok now.
Projects were all created in the last 12 months.
How did you resolve?
sorry.
I don’t have a picture, but I pressed “enter safari” in the window that appeared after the warning message. After that, I entered the serial code when I purchased it.
Thanks for the note, plus submit a bug report next time so we can take a deeper look. Project conversion warnings usually only appear with older projects. I’d be curious to know what triggered that message on your machines.
