Best suitable midi controller

Hello everyone,

I have fully licensed VDMX.
I am using it for home made video production with only the easiest features like playing random video clips, airing some home made channel logos, IPMs (in program messages like upper/lower thirds) in the same time.
I’d like to know which midi controller is the most suitable for me to do these easy steps:

  • 1-hit-button for playling videos randomly (shuffle) from different media bins
  • buttons which are able to display/pause/start multiple upper/lower thirds while playling video clips

I hope I was clear in describing what I needed. :slight_smile:

Works brilliantly for my needs. I also have a few older FaderFox units that would do the trick. Lots of them on eBay as they have been around for a long time. The early ones need a MIDI interface, later ones connect via USB as they have a MIDI intraface building. Worth checking them out:

you can also map functions to your qwerty keyboard
and theres a bunch of osc/midi controler apps for ios/ipad os. likely android also(not sure).
